The Ninth Oar was formed to assist Sonoma’s collegiate rowers by providing their teams with financial support in order for the athletes concentrate their energies on their rowing and academic performances. The Ninth Oar will be tasked with programs that will benefit the teams. The Ninth Oar’s main three areas of focus that would best accomplish our mission are as follows: building a boathouse, acquiring top-level equipment, and endowing the operations of the teams.
