Purposes of the Ninth Oar:
We have decided that the following three are the main priorities in moving rowing at Sonoma to the next level.

Equipment – to help support the growth and maintenance of Sonoma’s fleet of boats and inventory of equipment.
Endowment – 2 endowments will be set in place: an equipment endowment to support the equipment purchasing needs of the team and operating endowment to support expenditures related to coaching, travel, administrative fees, etc. These endowments will be set in place with the ultimate goal of completely supporting all equipment and operating costs of the team.
Boathouse – Provide a permanent home for the team.

Ten-Year Plan
One-Year Plan
To achieve a member base of 100+
To raise $5,000 toward the purchase of aforementioned endowments

Five-Year Plan
To achieve a member base of 200+
$250,000 in total endowment funds in place to offset the costs of the team

Ten-Year Plan
Member base of 500
$500,000 in total endowment funds in place
